Traditional interaction between an organization and its members has been primarily one-way most of the year, with the organization sending out periodic newsletters to members.  Members generally only get to communicate with one another on an individual basis.

Member affinity groups, a key component of the GoLightly Platform, permits year-round, two-way interaction between the organization and its members, and among the members themselves.

Members (and the organization's staff) can join or create groups on any topic of relevance to them.  Each group has its own participant list, email listserv, blog, wiki and file sharing library, and can be made as private or open as the members or the organization desires.

Holly Ross, NTEN “I find the tool so straight- forward to administer, and so easy for users to navigate that I would definitely recommend it. It’s a great next step from the generic email discussion lists that many groups are using.”
